Event Videos

After adding a camera to my arsenal of skills, some of my earliest work was event videos. Due to having lots of friends in the alternative club night scene I was able to quickly become the resident video creator for Fat Lip UK and part time for various other nights around Bristol. This was a fun and challenging environment to film in as you have to always be looking for a good shot and dealing with the unexpected due to the nature of subjects who have been drinking.

However, by far my favourite event video that I have worked on was the wedding video for Sophie & Alex. Similar to club videos it was very run and gun and unexpected at times but it was nice to be able to plan it more beforehand and have more of a schedule. It was a full 12 hour shoot walking around with a two camera setup and a heavy gimbal. To say it was exhausting is an understatement but it was still great fun regardless and a really refreshing video to edit compared to the usual event videos I was creating.
